Our Fun Times!

NDIS

NDIS

The NDIS do not fund holidays.

We offer Short Term Accommodation (STA) respite in a group setting.

STA is inclusive of Acomodation, meals, activities and personal care.

STA is designed to help you try new things, develop new skills, and maintain your living situation by giving your carers a break. The NDIS typically funds up to 28 days of STA per year, which can be used flexibly to meet your needs.

Funding an STA

You do not need STA to be listed in your NDIS plan. Your Core funding can be used to fund respite so long as the respite meets your goals.

We will provide a service agreement for you to sign listing all inclusions

Build Confidence and Independence

On our respites, participants will face new challenges, such as navigating unfamiliar places and making independent decisions. They will enhance their confidence by managing changes, making choices, and adapting to new environments.

Improved Daily Living Skills

During our trips, participants will have the opportunity to learn communication skills and acquire new abilities to enhance interactions with others. They will also work on increasing their independence and ensuring safety while engaging in various activities.

Improve Social Participation

Traveling with Care to Share GC is an excellent way to meet new people, build friendships, and practise social skills. You’ll join group activities with peers of similar age and interests, explore new environments, and through our social events you will be able to keep in touch on your return home

Testimonals

  • Dee provided exceptional care and support to my three disabled children for over 3 years. She took on every challenge with professionalism, compassion and enthusiasam, ensuring my boys recieved the highlest level of care. She provided overnight and vacation care and community outings, and thoughtfully created engaging activities to provide meaningful interaction. Her dedication and abilitity to adapt to any situation made a profound difference in our family.

  • I am so impressed with Dee and the level of care Dee and her team have when supporting my two sons, who both have ASD and ADHD. They went above and beyond to provide a wonderful experience for my boys whilst on respite. Dee and her team are kind, caring and professional. My boys respite stay was tailored to their disabi;ity support needs and interests within budget. My boys enjoyed it so much that they wanted to go on respite again. That says a lot, given they are two boys who would never do anything independent from their parents before their respite experience
